About the role
The Finance Intern plays a key supporting role in our day-to-day financial operations, assisting with invoice processing, general accounting tasks, and employee expense management. You will work closely with the Accountant and Finance Manager. The ideal candidate is a motivated fast learner and a detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in accounting and finance, and strong computer skills.

- Supporting the accounts payable process end-to-end: collecting and checking incoming invoices, coordinating approvals across relevant teams, verifying invoices against purchase orders and goods/services received, booking entries in the system, and maintaining vendor master data (bank details, addresses, and contacts).
- Assisting in managing employee expense claims and corporate credit card transactions, including supporting the submission process and reviewing entries for compliance with company policies.
- Performing weekly bank reconciliations, flagging discrepancies for review.
- Monitoring the finance team's shared email inbox, ensuring timely responses and routing requests to the right team member where needed.
- Handling mail processing, document filing, and providing general administrative support to the finance team, ensuring financial documents are properly archived both digitally and physically.
- Assisting in accounts receivable tasks, including invoice preparation, tracking, follow-ups, and notifying relevant teams of payments received.
- Working across our finance tools, primarily Odoo (ERP), Yokoy (expense management).
